Isis is an innovative concept at the boarder of House, Funk and Disco produced by one of Paris respected producer, Gerard Langella and featuring the london vocalist Marcia Johnson. Gerard Langella established his reputation with the amazing Drag Queen band called Sister Queen and has been involved in Dance Music area since a long time as a remixer, producer and song writer. Marcia Johnson was borned and raised in London and has always enjoyed music and acting. At 18 years old she started modeling just after finishing school and soon joined a theatre group performing in London West end. Marcia developed her vocal talents, began writing songs and toured the UK with “Deep Joy” as resident backing vocalist when then she met Gerard Langella. First record “Got to be special” got in French an Holland charts with the support of French label Airplay. The follow up “Don’t try it” was released by David Jurman (Sony – Dance Pool) in the USA where the track went N°1 in the Billboard official National Dance charts for 3 consecutive weeks in october 1998 and N°3 in the Maxi-single US sales charts.
